The Trigger

About a month or two ago, my younger brother stopped by to visit and on his way out, he said "If you've got $42,000 laying around doing nothing, you should buy Bitcoin."

"What?  Are you kidding me?  It's going to cost me $42K?", I asked.

"I'm telling you, it's going to go up, now would be the time to buy."  Well, he didn't quite explain the buying process to me since he was leaving, and I ignored his words of wisdom.

Fast forward to last week, younger brother, AKA Joey, sends me a text stating "If you had listened to me, you'd have made over $20,000 by now.  Bitcoin is over $60K."  Seriously??  I googled Bitcoin and sure enough, all signs point to it climbing higher and higher.

OK, so now he's got my attention.  A quick text to my ex-husband asking him what he knows about Bitcoin and bing, bing, bing, back comes a bunch of replies regarding how you don't have to buy a whole bitcoin, that my daughter even owns a fraction of a Bitcoin that he bought for her, and his recent condo purchase in south Huntington Beach was mostly paid with profits from Bitcoin.  He's even moving his money around and keeping it in a few different cryptocurrency platforms or wallets and with the interest he makes, he's able to pay for his monthly mortgage with that money.  His best friend started investing in Bitcoin several years ago and have now made between $2-$3 million dollars, I kid you not!  I'm sold on the idea now, how do I get started?
